19th c. rosewood English fall front desk, front decorated with floral needlework panel, slotted interior and three rosewood panel drawers, finely turned single stretcher base, carved front feet, hinged hidden compartment on top, 49" h, 25" w, 5" d.   

Early 19th c. New England maple rocking chair, four shaped slats, urn-shaped finials, sausage turned posts, (old repair to back upper post), shaped arms, rush seat, turned double stretchers, mortised and pinned, South Shore, Mass.   

19th c. oil on canvas, young girl/waif sweeping off a snowy doorstep, blowing on her hands, signed l.l. "E. Vaugoin", appears to be original frame, carved and gilded, shows some early repairs, 32 1/2" x 19 3/4".   

19th c. oil on canvas, depicting young man begging forgiveness from his father, "J. Hithen", titled on the reverse "The Return of the Prodigal, I Pool (Liverpool) 1858", original frame, carved with plaster, 18" x 24".   

Oil on canvas, chapel steeple with rooster weathervane and cross, and a goat in the foreground, signed l.r. "F.Hill Smith" (Frank Hill Smith, 1841-1904), original carved and gilded frame, small tear, signed on back of lower stretcher in pencil, 12" x 8 1/2".   

19th c. Chinese Rose Medallion bowl, squared scalloped edge, intricate patterns with birds and butterflies, good condition, 4 1/2" h, 9 3/4" w, 9 1/2" d, (ex. Skinner auction).   

Pair of custom Chinese armchairs with carved medallion, symbols in vertical splat, with fitted colorful chaise pads, 44" h.   

19th c. Chinese sliding door devotional cupboard, with two interior drawers below decorated with flowers, dovetailed, original dark finish, 25" h, 17" w. 

Fine early ceramic Chinese urn, floral black banded border at top, central scene of long tailed exotic birds on plum blossom trees with chrysanthemums, a smaller band of green feathers at the base, good condition, 10 1/2" h, 12" dia.   

Victorian parlor lamp, fancy metal base, matching green glass shade and base with hand-painted white chrysanthemums, dated "Aug. 1889". 

Eastlake, walnut, white marble top stand, turtle-shaped top with corresponding skirt, incised gilt decorated, carrying into the elaborately carved base.   

Victorian walnut rocking chair, finely carved arms, upholstered in gold brocade/velour.   

19th c. German porcelain punch bowl, hand-painted with multi-colored intricate florals in a gilded woven basketry form, on a raspberry background, octagonal gilded star interior decoration, footed, 7 1/4" h, 15 1/4" dia. 

18th c. New England, walnut, transitional Chippendale drop leaf table, finely carved skirt, reeded and tapered swing legs, leaves have shaped corners, good condition, 27 1/2" h, 39 1/2" l, 17" d, (16" leaf).   

Porcelain cased mantle clock, "Ansonia Clock Co, NY" inscribed on back of brass works, key, strike and chime, porcelain face, original iron hands, gilded bezel, hand-painted pink flowers, framed in gilded blue foliate designs, sides and front, 12" h.

Cut and pressed glass: two vases, one with crack at base; brilliant deep bowl; celery tray; and two footed candy dishes with teardrop stems, (six pieces).   

Brilliant cut 12" vase, and pair of nappies, 6" dia.   

Oak and brass Tantalus, three glass decanters, with lock and key. 

19th c. Victorian cabinet, in the Herter style, marquetry inlaid in brass, ivory, mahogany with burl satin and exotic woods, bouquets, architectural top, corinthian columned sides, single door, two-shelf felt interior, c. 1850-1860, 43" h, 39" w, 17" d. 

19th c. lidded cut crystal compote, diamond pattern, (similar to an example in Wetmore Mansion, Newport, RI), 12" h. 

19th c. French bronze figural lamp, signed "F. Moreau", titled "Amphitrite", holding a conch shell, lightly draped in a garland of flowing cloth and leaf and foliate back, two-light top on circular marble base, 29" h
