Pleasant St. c. 1745", 13" l; Rare spatula "found in large walled up fireplace in the Cayman House, corner of Hersey & South St.", 14" l; Rare handled strainer/dipper, "acquired from the basement kitchen of the Hingham Agricultural & Horticultural Society before the Ag. hall was torn down (at Leavitt & East Streets)" (JPR), the handle is decorated with circular designs, 18" l.

Davis" slide lid pine box, decorated with red, white and blue shield on lid, contents inside include ivory buttons, a whale's tooth, sailor's horn burnisher, an iron awl, ivory scrimshaw ladie's purse pieces, and a black ladies lace shawl, a 1778 Spanish coin "found in a sea chest...of an 18th c. Building on Mill St."; Davis was a mast maker at Hingham Harbor

Jar; teapot; and two hexagonal Chinese ginger jars, both found in the "Allan Gay House, 262 South St, 1958, new owner let me take "junk" family left."; the teapot and jar were also from the Allan Gay house, the jar is decorated with dragons and was used for tobacco (shows some chips), holds many gold painted clay disks with religious scenes.

Davis" on bottom, "Ship spar, block maker Hingham, Mass" (JPR), "Found in the loft of an 18th c. commercial bldg facing onto Mill St. Hingham, Mass. The bldg was about to be razed. I found many items marked with the William Davis Mark." (JPR), 7" h to rim, 11" dia.
