Davis" slide lid pine box, decorated with red, white and blue shield on
lid, contents inside include ivory buttons, a whale's tooth, sailor's horn
burnisher, an iron awl, ivory scrimshaw ladie's purse pieces, and a black
ladies lace shawl, a 1778 Spanish coin "found in a sea chest...of an 18th c.
Building on Mill St."; Davis was a mast maker at Hingham Harbor.
